First Post!

This is my first time to post on my new blog, I am so excited! I have been reading several blogs over the past several months and decided that it was finally time to make my own. I'm not quite sure who all could be interested in my pretty boring life, but maybe it could just give you all a little break from your own realities! I thought what better topic for my first post than jewelry? I mean, of course we all love fun new pieces and let me tell you... I saw several today that I was just drooling over! I usually try to stay away from jewelry stores unless I just happen to have some extra spending money, because otherwise I will most certainly find something that I just HAVE TO HAVE and it will be all that I think about until I finally break down and buy it (extra spending money or not!)

I got a call from my mom today saying that one of my favorite jewelry stores is having a "moving sale" and that I should drop in to see if there were any things that I might want to add to my Christmas list. And boy did I find something that I can't live without... a gorgeous blue topaz and diamond ring that is to die for! I will post a picture as soon as I can figure out how to get it from my phone to the computer (remember I am new at this!)

I hope to also figure out how to make my blog pretty and fun asap (and pink of course)... let me know if you have any advice for the new blogger!
